Expectations Second Annual Wine Tasting Event Friday, June 13, 2008 7 - 10 p.m. Crystal Lake Country Club 721 Country Club Rd. Crystal Lake, IL Celebrate the beginning of summer with a relaxing evening of great company, fine wine, and exquisite food at the Service League's second annual wine tasting.  Tasters will have the opportunity to sample, purchase, and learn about a variety of wines provided by The Wine Merchant of Crystal Lake. Enjoy appetizers and a light meal prepared by the Crystal Lake Country Club. The Cocoa Cabana of West Dundee will tempt your taste buds with a variety of hand dipped chocolates to sample and purchase. Also, enjoy a creamy chocolate fondue served with a variety of fruit. Jed Petray, a local performing artist, will add music to this relaxing evening. Three fabulous raffle prizes will contribute to the evening's excitement! Enter for a chance to win: Galena Cellars Winery & Vineyard Getaway: 2 night stay, winery tour, tasting room visit, a $50 gift certificate for dinner at Vinny Vanucch's Restaurant, and, of course, a bottle of wine to begin the adventure. Ravinia Park Package: A $50 gift certificate to your choice of date and entertainment at the fabulous Ravinia Park, with all you need to enjoy a picnic under the stars. Included is a Picnic Basket filled with 2 bottles of wine, a $25 gift certificate to Kalc's Butcher, and 2 lawn chairs. Round of Golf for Two at CL Country Club: Includes dinner for two at the club and a hand painted scene of the golf course done by our own talented artist Ellen Ebann. Leave all the stress of spring's activities behind and join us for an evening of adult conversation, fun, food, music and fine wines. All proceeds benefit the charitable efforts of the Service League of Crystal Lake. Tickets are $40 each or $75 per couple.
